Here is the movie summary for "Smokin' Aces": When a Las Vegas performer-turned-snitch named Buddy Israel (Jeremy Piven) decides to turn state's evidence and testify against the mob, it seems that a whole lot of people would like to make sure he's no longer breathing. As news of his betrayal spreads, a rogues gallery of hitmen, gangsters, and other assorted thugs converge on Lake Tahoe to take out Buddy before he can share his secrets with the authorities. Enter Nevada State Trooper Darwin Wood (Jason Alexander), who finds himself caught in the crossfire as Buddy's would-be assassins start taking each other out. Meanwhile, a pair of bumbling hitmen, Clark "Lonesome" Randall (Benjamin Weaver) and Frankie "The Fixer" Nivens (Ryan Phillippe), are hired to take out Buddy, but their ineptitude only leads to more chaos and mayhem. As the body count rises and the stakes get higher, a motley crew of killers, gangsters, and FBI agents descend upon Lake Tahoe, making it a free-for-all bloodbath. Amidst the carnage, Buddy's estranged wife, Georgia (Amanda Crew), tries to protect him from harm, while Nevada State Trooper Wood struggles to keep up with the ever-shifting landscape of hitmen and goons.
